UHURU GARDEN FARMS
UHURU GARDEN FARMS is land owned by LUMINA that flourishes with profound missions and innovatively sustainable practices. With our agricultural endeavours, we secure long term sources of funding for all of our programs and initiatives. It also sets a foundation for our community's growth with job creation and responsible environmental stewardship.
HONEY BEE FARMING
Our honey bees are an integral aspect of UHURU GARDEN FARMS. Our honey bees produce rare, medicinal honey while nourishing our crops with pollen enriching the soil to increase greater harvests year round. It can't get any sweeter than that!
(The custom made hives you see in the video are made by hand with our project partners. Our goal by the end of 2026: 45 hives + counting)
TIME TO BUILD!
We have secured farm locations and are ready to acquire as our pending registration processes conclude. We have found gorgeous lush land that has been tested and proven. As we welcome new investors, we are to begin building for the chicken coop, cattle barns and crop harvesting. Our plan is to begin planting banana trees, guava trees, tea, onions, potatoes, hibiscus flowers, sunflowers, rose bushes and other herbs, fruits and vegetables. There's so much more to share.

JOB CREATION
UHURU GARDEN FARMS, thanks to our generous donors, benefits the community with educational resources as beneficiaries learn new trades. It also provides jobs for locals and qualifying candidates in our programs such as single parents and vulnerable families. With your help, we are able to create a lasting legacy that will benefit many generations to come.
WHY SUPPORT UGF by Lumina?
Most non-profit organizations rely on longterm sponsorships, donations and regular fundraisers. Of course these efforts are necessary, especially when just starting out - however, our ideal is to ensure LUMINA is self-sufficient and able to stand on its own.
Here at LUMINA, we have created models that allow us to sustain and remain well maintained even through the dryer seasons and rough patches. We have discovered a different way of doing things and you are invited to join us in what this soon becomes.
